Rockstars are Losers

We love rockstars. You know how overwhelmingly large rock fans are in concerts. Fans are one of the perks that rockstars, especially male, enjoy. They seem not to be short of admirers, yet they seem to be losers in love and relationship. And its all evident in their songs they make.

Franco's Stupid Me reveals such case. Coldplay's The Scientist seems to display a desperate yearning of a lost love. Pedicab's Konti Na Lang seems to imply the songwriter was avoided and used by a girl. Up Dharma Down's Oo is a nostalgic but painful breakup. Rico Blanco's Para Hindi Ka Mawala is pitiful plea to win back a girl. Foo Fighters's Walking After You seems to be an endless tailing (or stalking, at worst) to a girl. Alanis is a famous loser in relationships. Silverchair's Miss You Loce is a confusing confession of missing.

Why do rockstars seem to be frail in love? They seem but they seem not. Is this frailty only true to rockstars? Not, I guess, but they definitely come in second with melancholic balladeers. Popstars don't seem to pose a very strong frailty in love. They are more into happier songs or beats.

Is it just that painful experiences make great rock songs or record producers just ought rockstars to write painful love stories to sell?

most who don't go for gibo already lost confidence to (super) intelligent leaders. Take Marcos and GMA. His kinship with the cojuangcos and small experience in public office are marginal issues.

Their favorite line often is, "we had enough of intelligent leaders." So, they go for the less intelligent!

Erap tops in their list! O c'mon, are we going to vote for a convict?

Next is noynoy. O my! Another less intelligent leader. His mother drove our country down, remember? Ya! She gave us democracy, but mismanaged it because of her...of course...less intelligence. Less intelligent people are easily manipulable. And I believed, cory was a victim of such crude manipulations of advisers. Cory was better and effective as a private patriot, given her heart.

If you go for less intelligent president, then go as well for less intelligent vice president, senators and local officials. Don't be wowed anymore of academic excellence. Don't employ graduates with honors anymore. Don't send your children anymore to the best schools. Dont listen to classical musics anymore to produce genius kids. Don't aspire anymore for intelligent boyfriend/girlfriend.

The say Noynoy is humble, clean and honest. So as gibo! The difference is gibo is more intelligent...and yes...less manipulable.

I could go for Gordon though. I love his frankness, charisma and truthfulness. But it was gibo's positivity that outweighed Gordon's honest mouth. Our country badly needs positive vibes to move.

I could also go (again because i voted him last) Eddie villanueva for his spirituality and moral ascendancy, but our country does not have yet the critical spiritual voters.

Villar is never in my list. But if he wins, I can accept him.

JC is way too idealistic. Jambi is just nuisance candidate. If chiz continued, they are the best pair. Hehehe

I am for gibo because i brlieve he has the intelligence of marcos and the heart of cory. More importantly, i am for gibo because i want to have an intelligent child and I have an intelligent girlfriend, parent and sisters.

Don't get me wrong though. Intelligence is not enough but at least you would not easily be manipulated.

Yes! MY VOTE IS NOW FOR SALE!

I particularly sell my vote to mayorial, vice-mayorial, councilor, board member, and party list candidates. I sell because i do not know who to vote.

I am not selling my vote to running governors, vice governors and congressman though because they do not have rivals. I am forced to (or not) vote them. They are political dynasties in davao oriental. Their names are deeply rooted among my kababayans. Arent my kababayans tired or just passive or plain ignorant? Our province has been in an age-long underdevelopment. Concrete roads are still unfinished since I was born. Davao Oriental has many rich and diverse tourist destinations, far better than Cebu and Bohol, yet our province is rarely visited.

The unrivaled governor is somehow, I heard, a good one. Thus, my vote would not be wasted on her, but I am still skeptical.

My vote is really for sale for mayors, vice mayors, councilors, board members and party lists because I do not know them. Ya, blame it on my 15-year absence in Mati City. Political dynasty also ruled the top two posts. They are, however, the new generation of the dynasty. Their fathers already died…along with their legacy. Yes! Their fathers made Mati a first-class municipality in the 70s, but my town underwent a snail-pace development or better yet, a gradual decay. Many towns have already overtaken us. Tagum City, for one, passed us. Tagum City is poorer with resources compared to Mati. They do not have quality water and they do not have our beaches. Yet, they are better than us.

Yes! I am also selling my vote to Gibo, Mar Roxas, Alex Lacson, Dr. Bautista, Yasmin Lao, Pia Cayetano, Miriam Defensor Santiago, Risa Hontiveros, Enrile, Vicente Sotto, Manuel Valdeheusa. Among them, i really like Manuel Valdeheusa to buy me. He advocates barangay governance. This is where accountable governance should all start.

I am still contemplating if id sell my vote to Bongbong Marcos, Kata Inocencio, Ariel Querubin, Gilbert Remulla, Querubin, Danny Lim, Neric Acosta.

I am definitely not selling my vote to "incompetent" kins of former senators, celebrities and dirty reelectionists!

Yes! i am selling my vote FOR FREE especially those i named. They all will be discounted with guaranteed loyalty if they provide better service.

So, BILI NA! :)
